SUCCESS IN A DIFFICULT CLINICAL CASE

Mrs. J. W. is a 90 year old patient with left hip trochanteric fracture surgically treated with plate nail  in Denia´s Marina Alta Hospital  (August 2011)
After 10 months she presents a severe pain with limping, and after clinical and radiological study a left femoral neck fracture with displacement was detected and surgery was needed. On July 19th , surgery was performed in Valencia´s Hospital “9 de Octubre” removing the plate nail and performing a Total Hip Replacement.
Day after surgery she started walking, and on 22nd she was able leave hospital.
